LVWCC hosts 41st Wash Green-Up
The Las Vegas Wash Coordination Committee (LVWCC) held its annual volunteer planting on Saturday, March 29.
Working together, 275 volunteers planted more than 4,000 flowers, grasses, and shrubs.
Revegetation projects at the Las Vegas Wash armor its banks against erosion, provide wildlife habitat, beautify the area, and invest the public in the LVWCC’s management goals.
To date, Wash Green-Up volunteers have revegetated 336 acres along the waterway with more than 161,000 plants.
