LVWCC 2022-2023 biennial report available

The first Las Vegas Wash Coordination Committee (LVWCC) biennial report is now available, highlighting LVWCC activities and accomplishments in 2022 and 2023 related to the stakeholder process, erosion control, water quality, environmental resources (i.e., revegetation, wildlife and cultural resources) and public outreach.

Previously produced annually, the report is now put together every other year to better align with long-term operations at the Wash and also includes more data for study-heavy programs.

Wildlife

Wildlife research

Get your hands dirty for a great cause at the next Green-Up!

Held once a year in the spring, our Green-Up planting events along the Las Vegas Wash are great for conservationists and activists of all ages and create much-needed habitat for wildlife, reduce erosion and improve water quality. While this year's event has already taken place with 210 volunteers planting more than 3,500 native trees and shrubs, registration for the next Green-Up will open in January 2025.
