Fall volunteer planting opportunity
Although the Las Vegas Wash Coordination Committee stopped holding fall Wash Green-Ups a few years ago, there is an opportunity to get involved in a similar planting event at the Warm Springs Natural Area near Moapa.
Volunteers will help plant approximately 2,000 native plants across the site.
The event will take place on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 8, and includes lunch for all participants.
