With the winter season upon the Wash, the wetlands plants at the Demonstration Weir are firmly entrenched and growing strong. Several species of birds are still making their homes among the reeds and cattails, like these American coots that can be seen swimming in the open water. If you compare this video with some of the earlier ones, you can see the dramatic amount of wetlands created in only a few short months.
