Recycling is a great way to protect the Las Vegas Wash (and the greater environment) from pollution. Some of the reasons you may have heard why it is important to recycle are:

If you need to dispose of hazardous waste (paints, pesticides, auto fluids, batteries, paint solvents, prescription and non-prescription drugs, oil, pool cleaners, fertilizers, etc.) residents may drop off up to 10 gallons or 40 pounds of material (sealed and labeled) at: Republic Services 333 W. Gowan Rd., N. Las Vegas (Tues.-Sat., 8 a.m.-4 p.m.)
