Prevent Pollution
You can help the Las Vegas Wash just by making sure garbage is thrown away in a trash can rather than on the street. It's really that simple! When people throw out garbage or unused household and outdoor chemicals on the street, or don't clean up after their pets, this waste can be picked up by urban and stormwater runoff. The runoff then carries the waste into the Wash, and ultimately, into Lake Mead.
