Powerline Crossing Weir

The Powerline Crossing Weir is the lowest weir within the Wetland Park boundaries and sits just downstream of the Rainbow Gardens Weir and upstream of the Fire Station Weir and Lake Las Vegas. This rock riprap structure was completed in 2007 and spans the Wash 320 feet across, 350 long and seven feet high. The most obvious element of this weir is the 350-foot bridge that extends over the structure connecting the south and north shores. This bridge is a valuable element in Clark County Parks and Recreation Trails Master Plan and has been complimented by the addition bridge upstream with the completion of the Upper Diversion Weir and Bypass Channel.
