Real-time Water Quality Monitoring
LW0.8 - Downstream of Lake Las Vegas Dam Site

pabco
This Hydrolab is firmly secured in a steel pipe allowing it to remain in the water during storm events.

Data collected from this site, which is located near the end of the Wash's journey down to Lake Mead, reflects the mixing of all four flow components. By the time water traveling downstream reaches this point, flows from the three wastewater treatment facilities have been included, as well as urban runoff, shallow ground water, and any storm flows. Thus, water quality data taken at this site is representative of the quality of the Wash water entering Lake Mead at Las Vegas Bay.
