- The riparian ecosystems along the Lower Colorado River Basin are unique and require unique methods when planning,
carrying out, maintaining and monitoring revegetation projects
- Collaboration and communication with colleagues prevents repeats of mistakes and increases the chance of success
- Many of the wildlife species that revegetation projects in the region are trying to get re-established require specific plant species and plant structures, this workshop will discuss research in this area
What will this Workshop discuss?
This workshop will include plenary sessions on the science and methods of Revegetation, hands-on exercises and tours of Southern Nevada riparian revegetation projects.

- What species benefit by revegation projects
- What field conditions are important to know
- What plants are best to use and where to get them
- How do you design a revegation project
- How do you succeed on a limited budget
What is the cost of the workshop?
$75 - this includes two days of presentations from some of the most respected individuals in the field, a tour of the Las Vegas Springs Preserve restoration activities, a tour of the Las Vegas Wash revegetation activities, breakfast and lunch all three days provided by the Springs Preserve Cafe by Wolfgang Puck (only in Las Vegas).
